The Overscaig House Hotel has a comfortable lounge where you can lose a few hours. Here you can watch television, "relax" with a game on the Playstation or, if you prefer to read, we have a good collection of books (everything from Tin Tin to Tolstoy). We also have a number of maps and guide books of the area, so you can relax in comfort and plan the following day's activity.

Alternatively, sample one of our collection of fine Scottish Malt Whiskies at the bar, then take your drink in to our "parlour" and warm yourself beside the wood buring stove. The bar is decorated with a panel showing hundreds of Scottish Tartans - try finding yours.

If you would rather be outdoors, the hotel has 10 acres of ground leading down to Loch Shin, as well as access to the local forestry tracks. These are great places to enjoy a walk, spotting the many varieties of bird and wild life that live here.
